U120

The U120 team were drawn against Hertfordshire in the semi-finals but it proved impossible to move the match from the default date of June 19th. This date clashes with the Heywood Congress (including Lancashire Championships) and after much effort trying to organise a team, it became clear that too many players were unavailable. Regeretfully, in the end Lancashire were left with no course of action other than to retire from the competition this year. Many apologies to those who were available to play and many thanks to all who have supported the team this season.

U100

Lancashire's U100 team faced Essex at the semi-final stage, with the match played on Saturday 5th June at the Midland Red Social Club, Quinton, Brimingham. On paper the teams appeared well matched but in the end Essex played better on the day and won by 7½ - 4½. Many thanks to Essex for agreeing to move the match from the default date of 19th June to avoid clashing with the Heywood Congress.
